Do you record your career highlights? One of those special moments that reinforces why you’ve chosen to stay with the team? Or maybe a time when your job lets you enjoy a small part of history? Whatever the reason, a video can be a great way to explain a passion to an outsider. Here is an example.
This is an amateur video of the last Delta L1011 flight. It’s a little blurry and jerky, but it was interesting to me as I was fascinated by these planes from the early 1970s with the engine in the tail. In this video, Delta employees wrote all over the airplane; a speaker talked about how each plane had a personality; airport fire departments saluted the planes with water sprays; and apparently the passengers stripped the plane of mementos. I thought it was an interesting look at something that was more than just another plane to these folks.
